Another last minute post! To be fair, it's because all the semi-exciting stuff is happening this week.
I'm splitting two Sailor inks with a coworker (Manyo Haha and Yurameku Byakuya), and we'll be testing them out eventually. Yes, this does mean that I broke one of my few resolutions—no more new fountain pen inks—but it's so late in the year that it basically doesn't count. And when your coworker wants to split some dual-shaders, you kind of have to get in on it.
I also recently got my hands on Dominant Industry Early Spring. Autumn Forest (shown in the tweet below) quickly climbed my list to becoming one of my favorite inks I got to test out this year, so I figured trying out another Dominant Industry ink would be in the stars. Is Early Spring "usable?" Not really. Sure is pretty in the bottle, though.

I filmed a series of videos this month for JetPens, the first of which will be coming out in October! I won't spoil the surprise, but it did require me inking up all of my pens. Okay, that's a lie; I didn't have to ink up all my pens. But limiting to a quick dip seems so uncouth somehow, doesn't it? At this point I've managed to write two or three dry, so... we'll be working through the rest of the backlog in the coming months.
I hope all of you have been having a lovely summer. It suddenly warmed up again this weekend here, which has given my autumn/winter-loving tushie a little bit of the grumps, but I have to admit that going out and seeing some friends worked well to brighten my mood. And, of course, considering I survived a 100+ degree heat wave just a few weeks ago, a day in the low 90s seems pretty pleasant!
